Cash 3
Cash 3 is a daily draw game from the Mississippi Lottery with prizes of up to $500, and multiple play types and wagers to choose from. Add the Fireball feature for extra ways to win. Cash 3 is Mississippi's third draw game, launched on September 1, 2020, after Powerball and Mega Millions were introduced on January 30, 2020.
There are two chances to win every day - Midday numbers are drawn at 2:30 PM CT, followed by Evening numbers at 9:30 PM. The winning numbers will be posted on this site soon afterwards. Results will also be broadcast on TV, via WCBI-Columbus, WXXV-Gulfport, WJTV-Jackson, WMDN-Meridian and WGBC-Meridian (times may vary by schedule).
How to Play
To start playing Cash 3, grab a play slip and select your favorite three digits from 000 through 999. You can play up to five times per playslip; each panel is a different play. Or simply check the Quick Pick box and the lottery terminal will randomly choose your numbers. If you check Quick Pick but don't specify a play type, the ticket will default to a $1 Exact Order play for the next draw.
Choose your draw time: Midday at 2:30 PM, Evening at 9:30 PM, or Both.
Cash 3 has a choice of play types with different ways to match the numbers drawn to win a prize and various odds of winning. The game offers fixed cash prizes, so the amount to be won is guaranteed, no many how many other players or winners there are. Wagers start at $0.50.
- Exact Order: (Straight play). Win if your numbers match the numbers drawn in the exact same order. $0.50 or $1 wager
- Any Order: (Box play) Win if your numbers match in any order. $0.50 or $1 wager
- Exact or Any Order: A $0.50 Exact (Straight) play and a $0.50 Any (Box) play on one ticket. Total cost: $1. Win if your numbers match in exact or any order
- Combo: All Exact Order (Box) combinations of 3 numbers. Total cost: $1.50 to $6, depending on how many potential winning combinations your numbers can make
Do you want to play your lucky numbers more than once? Multi-Draw is the most convenient way to play up to seven consecutive draws.
Fireball
Add the Fireball option for more ways to win. A separate Fireball drawing takes place at the same time as the Cash 3 draws. One Fireball number from 0 through 9 will be drawn for the Midday drawing at 2:30 PM and one for the 9:30 PM Evening drawing. Fireball is available for all Cash 3 play types, and doubles the cost of your play.
Use the Fireball number to replace one of the Cash 3 numbers drawn by the Lottery for more ways to make a winning match. Note that Fireball can only replace one of the numbers drawn by the Lottery, not a number on your ticket.
Here's an example of how Fireball works. Let's say you choose an Exact Order play for $1 with the numbers 123 and add Fireball, increasing the cost to $2. The Lottery draws the numbers 193, and the Fireball number 2. Use that 2 to replace the 9 in the Lottery's numbers and you have a winning match, 123, and take home a prize of $180.

Fireball Prizes and Odds of Winning
The following table shows all the prizes available if you add the Fireball option to your Cash 3 play. A Fireball number from 0 to 9 is drawn for both the Cash 3 Midday and Evening draws. Use it to replace any of the Cash 3 numbers drawn to create more potential combinations. Fireball doubles your Cash 3 play cost, as shown below.
