Bonus Match 5
Bonus Match 5 is a Maryland Lottery game with the chance to win up to $50,000 every night for just $1.00.
The draw is held seven nights a week: Monday through Saturday it's at 7:56 pm ET, and on Sunday it takes place at 8:22 pm.
How to Play
Choose five numbers from 1 to 39, or mark Quick Pick to have the lottery computer select your numbers. Each playslip has nine boards (sections) headed A through I. Each board is one game. These are the costs to play:
- One board: $1.00
- Three boards: $2.00
- Four boards: $3.00
- Six boards: $4.00
- Seven boards: $5.00
- Nine boards: $6.00
On each board you want to play, mark five numbers with a vertical line in pencil or blue or black ink. If you make a mistake, don't try to erase - instead mark the "Void" box at the bottom of the playslip.
To play your lucky numbers for up to seven draws in a row, mark how many draws you want to play in the "Number of Draws" box.
Play one draw in the future (excluding the next draw) by marking the day you want to play in the "Advance Play" area.
Your total ticket cost reflects how many game boards you've played times the number of draws you've selected.
If you're lucky enough to win a prize before all your selected drawings have finished, you can claim your prize right away and you'll be issued a bonus exchange ticket for the remaining games.
Prizes and Odds of Winning
During the draw, five main winning numbers from 1 through 39 are randomly picked. Next, a Bonus Ball is drawn from the remaining 34 numbers, providing players with more ways to win.
You'll win a prize if you match five, four, or three of the five main numbers drawn. If you match the Bonus Ball, then you can win by matching just four, three, or two of the main winning numbers.
