Cash Pop
Washington’s Cash Pop is a daily lottery which could not be simpler to play. All you need to do to win a prize is match a single number from 1 to 15, and you could receive a payout of $500. Find out more about the game, which was introduced by the Washington Lottery in October 2023.
How to Play
Cash Pop drawings in the Evergreen State take place at 8:00 PM PT. You have to purchase your tickets before the cut-off time of 7:45 PM. Unlike some other games, you cannot cancel a ticket after it has been bought.
To play, simply select at least one number from 1 to 15 on your playslip. The numbers are also known as Pops, and you are allowed to choose more than one to boost your chances of winning. You can even select all 15 Pops to guarantee yourself a win.
If you don’t want to choose your own numbers, the other option is a Quick Pick. The computer system will generate your Pop(s) at random.
WA Cash Pop costs $5 per number. When you receive your ticket, every number you have picked will be accompanied by a prize value. This is the amount you will get paid if that number is drawn.
You can play up to five consecutive drawings, with each one printed on a separate ticket.
Prizes and Odds of Winning
There are nine possible prize amounts that can be shown alongside each Pop on your ticket, ranging from $25 to $500. The prize value is randomly generated at the point of purchase, but the odds are different for each one. For example, you are more likely to see $25 on your ticket than $500.
The odds of actually winning a prize are 1 in 15 for each number you play, making your chances of winning far better than many other lotteries. The table below shows all the different prizes you can win and the odds of winning each one.
