UK Lotto Rolls Over for Saturday Draw

Friday September 16th 2011

It might be the US that is boasting one  of the largest lottery jackpots with the MegaMillions currently standing at a cool $65 million but this will in no way dampen the spirits of those players in the UK. After the Wednesday evening draw, the UK Lotto game from National Lottery rolls over to give this patriotic nation a jackpot of £6.5 million to play for on Saturday 17th September. This may not be anywhere near the size of other world lottery games but for the UK this is a real treat.

This is the second time this month that the National Lottery has rolled over and on the last occasion a tasty £7.06 million was won on 7th September and the latter part of August was littered with roll overs too. In fact, we saw this lottery jackpot at its peak for August when £11.03 million for the draw that took place on Wednesday 24th August was finally won.

The Brits have been fairly lucky with National Lottery roll overs this year. In fact there has been at least one roll over every single month since the beginning of April. Quite often the National Lottery can go for months without a roll over so UK players have been quite excited so far this year and rightly so.

So if you are a lottery player who wants to play a game with slightly better odds than the EuroMillions or Italy’s SuperEnalotto and also want the chance of a larger than normal jackpot prize, then investing in one or two tickets for the National Lottery this weekend will be just what you are looking for.
