Tonight's Powerball Jackpot Worth $216 Million
Wednesday October 23rd 2013Excitement is building for tonight’s Powerball draw as the jackpot is now worth $216 million after players in Saturday’s draw failed to match the winning jackpot numbers, allowing the top prize to roll for the ninth time. Despite no players winning the jackpot on Saturday, there were still 850,802 players who did win a prize.
The Powerball numbers from Saturday’s draw were 9, 33, 54, 56, and 57 with the Powerball number 5. Six tickets, purchased in California (1), Florida (1), Illinois (1), Missouri (1) and Pennsylvania (2) matched the five main numbers to each win $1million, with the exception of the ticket holder in California who won $541,955 due to the pari-mutuel system of prizes in the Golden State.
