Time running out to join £90m EuroMillions draw
Friday March 18th 2011Anyone who fancies getting their hands on a £90million lottery jackpot has just a matter of hours left to buy a ticket. Ticket sales for the EuroMillions draw will end at 7.30pm this evening so anyone who is planning on trying their luck should make sure they pick their numbers immediately.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We're keeping our fingers crossed for a UK winner this Friday – if the jackpot is won in the UK, it would be the second biggest lottery prize ever paid out and the winner would not only be able to change their own life but also the lives of their friends and family around them."
If just one person were to win then they would be catapulted to the Sunday Times Rich List. Going by last year’s list they would have a fortune equivalent to George Michael, and be richer than singer Robbie Williams (£85m), celebrity chef Jamie Oliver (£65m) and model Kate Moss (£43m).
If you don’t manage to win the top European lottery prize tonight, there is still the Mega Millions draw in America to come.
Tonight’s estimated jackpot stands at $201million, which would equate to a cash prize of $128.3million before tax.
