Hurdis Smith from Queens purchased four New York Lottery Black tickets, scooping him $1million and doorman Kasem Kurmemaj bought a $1,000 a week for life lottery ticket which is worth at least $1 million. Having said that, Kasem is just 33 years old, so his winning lottery ticket is potentially worth a lot more.

The top  winner of the three, Securella is taking his win as one lump sum. After taxes the  check he takes home is worth £2,080,182.

Securella plans to spend his New York lottery win on buying house, a new car and a family Holiday to Italy, but the lottery win will not change his life and he still plans to continue working.

On 7th November he decided to buy lottery tickets when calling in for a bacon and egg sandwich at the Metro Deli. Never would he have believed that a bacon and egg sandwich had the potential to change his life in such a big way. Even when the winning lottery numbers were shown on TV, Vinny had to convince himself that he had in fact won the New York Lottery, buy purchasing a newspaper the next day to double check.
