SuperEnalotto offering the largest jackpot

Tuesday March 16th 2010

After a few amazingly exciting weeks on the world lottery games, things are likely to be a little calmer this week. The huge jackpots that have been up for grabs on some of the worlds most popular lottery games have now been won, although not all of the details of winners have yet been released. However, although low by its own standards, the Italian game SuperEnalotto offering the largest jackpot of €47.7 million will be a very desirable lottery to play this week,  even though it is probably the most difficult lottery game in the world to win.

The SuperEnalotto usually rolls over for many weeks before it is won and frequently reaches near record highs. Although the jackpot is relatively small compared to its usual winning amount, the fact that it is one of the highest could see many people buy lottery tickets for this game much earlier than they would have done normally. The increase in players would obviously raise the chances of the jackpot being won. So there is everything to play for this week.

There are some state lottery games in the US that are offering some great rollover jackpots this week, which of course have better odds than the SuperEnalotto. The Florida Lotto has a current jackpot of $27 million while the California Lotto Plus is boasting $24 million. Just across the border into Canada, the Lotto 6/49 is carrying a massive rollover jackpot of CAN$35 million.

So although the huge lottery jackpots we have seen over recent weeks have now been won, there are some very impressive ones still on offer.
