Still no MegaMillions winner
Thursday April 8th 2010The big US lottery games seem to be coming out on top this week as the world lottery rollover jackpots continue to rise. After the draw on Tuesday, there is still no MegaMillions winner which means that this lottery jackpot has now risen to a massive $90 million for the next draw which will take place on Friday 9th April. The winning numbers were 16, 43, 44, 52, 56 and the Mega Ball was 26. Despite there being no jackpot winner again this time, there were still some fantastic wins on the lower tiers.
There were seven lucky MegaMillions players who matched the first five numbers to each scoop a whopping $250,000. Two of these lucky Lottery winners came from Pennsylvania, along five with others from Arkansas, California, Michigan, Georgia and Texas. So it just goes to show that you don’t need to win the MegaMillions jackpot to win a life changing amount of money, and this is also true of all lottery games.
The only rival for the MegaMillions draw on Friday is EuroMillions, but there really is no competition as the EuroMillions jackpot is only currently €15 million after it was won last week.
The biggest decision that lottery players face this week, is whether to buy lottery tickets for MegaMillions or PowerBall which was offering a jackpot of $125 million for the draw on Wednesday evening and we will have to wait for the result of this draw to find out if the PowerBall game is still in contention to carry the world highest lottery jackpot.
