Single ticket scoops $500,000 Florida jackpot
Wednesday March 23rd 2011There was just one winner of the top prize in the most recent Florida Lottery Mega Money game, according to game officials. The person whose decision to buy lottery tickets proved a wise one lives in Titusville, and they matched all four of the main numbers drawn, 6, 19, 21 and 36, along with the Mega Ball, 18.
Five people won a second tier prize, of almost $1,500 for matching all four of the main balls, a further 41 ticket-holders found themselves $398 richer after three of their four main numbers came up, and there were more than 44,000 other cash prize winners.
The top money-winner’s ticket was a quick-pick, or lucky dip, selection.
