Roll Up For the Next EuroMillions Draw

Friday September 2nd 2011

There is a fantastic evening for those players who roll up for the next EuroMillions draw that is taking place this evening, Friday 2nd September. After yet another midweek draw where there was no lucky jackpot winner, the EuroMillions is now offering an even bigger jackpot for the draw this evening. We are talking some very serious money now as the EuroMillions reaches an astonishing €114 million or £100 million to those players in the UK and this is the game that will be the talk of the lottery world this weekend.

The EuroMillions has now rolled over and incredible nine times to reach where it has today. Could it come anywhere close to the record win of Christine and Colin Weir from Largs in Scotland back in July of this year? Well this is something we will just have to wait and see. But although their win of £161 million makes today’s EuroMillions jackpot look like a drop in the ocean, it terms of lotteries and particularly the EuroMillions, it is exciting close.

The EuroMillions prize pool has risen by approximately £17 million since Tuesday but the after the previous Tuesday draw, the rise was just £13 million. However, the rise after a Friday EuroMillions draw to the Tuesday one seems to be a little lower. But the total rise over the two draws in a week from Friday 26th August to today is about £22 million. As the EuroMillions jackpot climbs, this rate will increase too, so we could possible only be looking at around two or three more rollovers before the EuroMillions jackpot gets somewhere close to the record breaking amount won back in July. So this shows in lottery terms, just how close the EuroMillions jackpot is to this July figure.
