Powerball To Send Hundreds of Players on Power Cruise

Lucky passengers will set sail on the Power Cruise in January 2019, when they will not only enjoy five nights of luxurious travel but also be entered into draws for the chance to win a share of $250,000 in onboard cash prizes.
How To Take Part and Win a Spot on the Power Cruise
Twenty-six state lotteries offered the chance to win a place on the inaugural Power Cruise, which set sail earlier this year, and the promotion for the 2019 cruise is again being run in many of the game’s participating jurisdictions, including:
Arizona, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia
Each of the participating state lotteries has a different way to enter, but many offer the chance to ‘Collect N Win’. With this method, players must first register and set up an account with their state lottery. Players can then enter their Powerball ticket numbers, either by downloading specific apps developed by the respective state lotteries and scanning their barcodes, or by entering the ticket numbers manually (ticket numbers can be found above the barcode).
When a ticket has been successfully validated, Power Cruise symbols will be generated, and players must collect enough symbols to fill out a game card on their lottery account so they can earn entries.
Each state will then hold a number of separate draws, when winners will be selected at random to go on the cruise. In Oklahoma, for example, there will be 25 winners.
When Does the Promotion End and when is the Power Cruise?
The promotion runs until June 6th. States will then hold their final prize draws at a later date once all entries have been received and logged, and hundreds of winners from across participating states will then get to go on the Power Cruise. The cruise will start on January 19th 2019 and last until January 24th.
What Can Power Cruise Winners Look Forward To?
The prize is advertised as a trip for two on the Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas, and the itinerary starts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. From there, the stunning ship plots a course for CocoCay in the Bahamas, followed by Nassau and then back to Fort Lauderdale.
The five-night cruise, complete with shore excursions, fine dining and sumptuous staterooms, also features regular opportunities for the passengers to win huge cash prizes. In total, there will be $250,000 given away in prize draws, including two grand prizes of $50,000 each.
