Powerball Jackpot Rolls to a Huge $245 Million

Wednesday September 11th 2013

Powerball fever is sweeping across the US as tonight’s jackpot is worth a huge $245 million after Saturday’s draw failed to deliver a top prize winner, allowing the jackpot to roll for the ninth time. Although there were no jackpot winners on Saturday there were still 1,057,123 players who did win prizes.

The Powerball numbers drawn on Saturday September 7 were 2, 19, 22, 26 and 45 and the Powerball was 24. One ticket holder from Illinois matched the five main numbers and Power Play to win a cool $2 million. A further three tickets, purchased in Michigan, New Mexico and Illinois, matched the five main numbers to each win $1 million while a further 50 players matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win $10,000 each.

Excitement is building for tonight’s draw as this the fourth largest Powerball jackpot this year. So, will any players match the winning numbers to become the ninth Powerball top prize winner of 2013 or will the jackpot roll again to hit the $300 million mark?

For your chance to stop the jackpot rolling again and win tonight’s life-changing prize, make sure you have your tickets ready in plenty of time for tonight’s draw. You can purchase tickets in person at an authorized retailer in any of the participating states, or more conveniently, online via the Buy Tickets page.

Good luck to everyone playing!
