A Powerball ticket holder struck it lucky on Saturday night when they successfully matched the five main numbers and the Powerball to win the rollover jackpot worth $130 million. The winning ticket was purchased from Rocco’s Bakery in Brooklyn, New York and is the first time since February 25 2012 that a ticket purchased in New York has won the Powerball jackpot.

The identity of the latest Powerball jackpot winner is not yet known but the owner of the store which sold the winning ticket told reporters that he knows who the lucky winner is as they rang him with the good news. “The winner is a regular customer here,” said Salah Al-Sulaimani. “The person is very nice and they could use the money.”

Rocco’s Bakery will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket and, since Saturday’s win, has seen a rise in ticket sales with many locals flocking to the store in the hope of emulating Saturday’s jackpot winner.

In total, Saturday’s draw saw 634,281 winners across all eight prize tiers. In the second prize tier, five tickets purchased in Florida, Iowa, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania matched the five main numbers to win $1 million each.
