New Fast Play Game Called Jackpot USA Set To Launch
Thursday July 4th 2024The Multi-State Lottery Association is set to launch a new game called Jackpot USA. It will be a ‘Fast Play’ game and is expected to be introduced later this year.
The MUSL coordinates a number of hugely popular lotteries that are played in jurisdictions across the U.S. One example is Powerball, which is offered in 48 participating states and has jackpots that can be worth billions of dollars.
In an attempt to develop even more new games, the MUSL has established two new product groups. The first is known as the Fast Play Product Group, which aims to combine the big jackpots of multi-state lotteries with the excitement of Instant Win games.
It has now been announced that the Fast Play Product Group ‘is preparing to launch its inaugural product, Jackpot USA’, with a provisional target of September.
How Will Jackpot USA Work?
The full details of how Jackpot USA will work will be confirmed closer to launch, but the game is set to offer a progressive top prize that starts at $1 million.
The jackpot will then be able to grow until someone wins, and then it will reset to its minimum amount.
You will be able to play through retailers in participating states, as well as via self-service terminals, smart phones and computer devices.
A Jackpot Management System (JMS), developed by Intralot, will bring together all the various Fast Play entries from across the country and ensure the grand prize is updated continuously as players continue to buy tickets.
With a seven-figure starting jackpot and multiple states taking part, the game promises to provide bigger Instant Win prizes than ever before.
National For Life Products
At the same time as the establishment of the Fast Play Product Group, the MUSL has also set up a National for Life Product Group.
This has been created to explore growth in the ‘For Life’ category, and will be chaired by the Colorado Lottery’s Director Tom Seaver. Find out more about the new Millionaire for Life game that could be launching in 2025.
