Millionaire Raffle winner for Pennsylvania Lottery
Monday February 1st 2010Although the draw took place on 2nd January, the Millionaire Raffle winner for Pennsylvania Lottery, John Dailey, was presented with a cheque today for his fantastic $1 million win on this lottery game. The presentation by Lottery Executive Director, Ed Tees, took place in at the Giant Food Store in Selinsgrove, Snyder County, which is where Mr Dailey purchased his winning Millionaire Raffle ticket for the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The Giant Food Store will also receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning lottery ticket to Mr Dailey.
Mr Dailey and his wife always play the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Millionaire Raffle games, and had chosen to buy lottery tickets at different times and at different locations while the tickets were on sale. Coincidently, the winning raffle ticket was the last one that Mr Dailey had purchased and was one of four winning raffle tickets drawn by the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The other three winning Millionaire Raffle tickets from the Pennsylvania Lottery have also been claimed and they were won by Thomas Stein of Adams County, Larry Chestnut of Cumberland County and Shawn and Stephanie Benton of Blair County. Each of the winning tickets from the Pennsylvania Lottery are worth $1million in cash, less 25% in federal withholding.
It is not often that information is given regarding Millionaire Raffle winners from the various lottery games that run them. They tend to be sidelined a little in favour of the main lottery games, so it exciting to be able to bring some news on the four winners for this raffle game and congratulate them on their amazing wins.
