Michigan Lottery player about to lose prize

Sunday August 22nd 2010

Again we bring you the news of an appeal for a Michigan Lottery player who is about to lose a prize worth $250,000. The lucky ticket holder bought a ticket for the MegaMillions draw which took place on 28th August 2009 and matched the first five numbers drawn to scoop this fantastic prize. However, the Michigan Lottery is still waiting for this winner to come forward to claim and sends out an appeal in a last attempt to locate the ticket holder before the money goes to the State School Aid Fund.

The Michigan Lottery player has until 4pm on 30th August to step forward and make their claim as the office is closed on the expiry date of 28th. The winning ticket was purchased at Happy Days Party Store in Warren, so if you are a Michigan Lottery player and think you may have a lottery ticket lying around for this MegaMillions draw, then now would be a good time to dig it out and check it.

The winning numbers for this lottery draw were 1, 17, 31, 57 and 54 and the Mega Ball was 31. The Michigan Lottery player who holds the winning ticket will have matched the five main lottery numbers but not the Mega Ball, so if the ticket is yours, then make sure you contact the Lottery’s Public Relations Division immediately.

In the mean time we would just like to draw your attention to the Michigan Lottery’s Red Hot Raffle. As of 20th August there were only 20 lotto tickets remaining for this game which draws on 1st September, so if you are quick then you may just be lucky enough to get one.
