MegaMillions jackpot on the rise again

We have so far seen a record win in Italy in recent months and multi-state and multi-country lotteries, seem to be producing a huge amount of rollover jackpots. It is of no surprise that the MegaMillions jackpot is on the rise again.
With no jackpot winner from the draw on Saturday, the Mega Millions jackpot has now risen to a massive $170 million for the next draw, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
The winning lottery numbers in the last Mega Millions drawing were 3, 14, 21, 24, 51 and the Mega Ball was 14. However, seven lottery tickets managed to match 5 numbers, each winning $250,000 despite there being no winner for the $145 million jackpot.
As always, the larger the jackpot, the higher the demand for tickets and it would be wise to expect players of the Mega Millions to soon start flocking to retailers to buy lottery tickets at the last minute. If you do not already do so, it may be a good idea to consider buying your lottery tickets online to avoid the last minute rush.
The highest Mega Millions jackpot currently stands at $390 million which was won by two ticket holders in March 2007. So although this lottery jackpot is still huge, there is no reason at this moment to think that it will exceed this current record.
