Mega Millions Ticket Wins $189 Million Jackpot

The winning ticket was purchased in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, giving the state their second Mega Millions jackpot win of the year.
The Mega Millions numbers drawn last night were 7, 10, 30, 37 and 53 with the Mega Ball 1. In addition to the lucky jackpot winner, six tickets purchased in Arkansas (1), California (2), Massachusetts (1), Michigan (1) and New Jersey (1), matched the five main numbers to win the second tier prize. As two of the six winners purchased their tickets in California, they each won $140,882 as prizes in this state are paid on a pari-mutuel basis so are determined by ticket sales and the number of winners in the prize tier. The remaining four winning ticket holders in the Match 5 prize tier each won $250,000.
