Mega Millions Jackpot Reaches $291 Million
Wednesday December 4th 2013The Mega Millions jackpot rolled over for the 18th time last night, giving players the chance to win a jackpot worth $291 million in Friday’s draw. Although there were no top prize winners in the first Mega Millions draw of December, there were still over 2.2 million players who did win a prize.
The Mega Millions numbers drawn last night were 7, 12, 41, 44 and 59 with the Mega Ball 3 and the Megaplier 3. The first winning prize tier was Match 5 which saw one lucky ticket holder, who purchased their ticket in Missouri, win $1 million. A further 73 ticket holders matched four main numbers and the Mega Ball to win $5,000 each. However, as seven of these ticket holders had opted for the Megaplier, their win was trebled to $15,000.
As this Mega Millions jackpot is now the highest it’s been since March 2012, demand for tickets is certain to be high. Therefore, players are advised to purchase their tickets for Friday’s draw in plenty of time to be in with a chance of winning this life-changing jackpot.
