Lotto Max Hits CAD$50 Million

Wednesday October 3rd 2012

The Lotto Max jackpot has been rolling over for a while now as players in this Canadian Lottery have failed to match the seven numbers drawn in the results to scoop the jackpot. This means that now the Lotto Max has hit CAD$50 million and as this is the highest this jackpot can go in this lottery it also means that the additional game that is the Maxmillions starts up. Therefore in this Friday’s draw there are multiple prizes on offer to win so more chance to become a winner.

The last time the Lotto Max jackpot was won was on the 31st August 2012 when one ticket matched the numbers drawn to win CAD$20 million. Since then there has been no jackpot winners in the Lotto Max however that could all change in Friday’s draw.

Maxmillions only comes into play when the main Lotto Max jackpot hits CAD$50 million (its jackpot cap) therefore Friday’s draw has an estimated two CAD$1 million prizes available to win. The last time Maxmillions was in play was on the 24th August 2012 when there were 14 CAD$1 million prizes on offer but only four of these prizes were won. Three by tickets purchased in Ontario and then the other was won by two tickets purchased in Ontario and Vancouver.

Whether the Lotto Max jackpot will be won on Friday or not remains to be seen but like all lotteries you have to be in it to win it so if you fancy scooping any of the Lotto Max prizes or Maxmillions prizes this Friday make sure you have your tickets ready!
