Lotto Max Canada sets another record

Tuesday June 15th 2010

On Friday 11th June we saw a Lotto Max draw take place with a record breaking $77 million jackpot up for grabs. $50 million of this jackpot was for the main lottery draw and the remainder created individual $1 million Max Million prizes. However, the total $77 million is the highest lottery jackpot that Canadian Lottery players have ever seen. After this latest draw on Friday, Lotto Max Canada sets another record. Although there were 15 Max Millions winners, no one managed to win the main lottery jackpot of $50 million.

Lottery fever is now expected to sweep across Canada this week as the total jackpot is expected to rise to a whopping $95 million. This means that apart from the $50 million Lotto Max jackpot, which will remain capped at this amount until it is won, there will be a staggering 45 $1 million Max Millions prizes up for grabs for the next draw which takes place on Friday 18th June. This obviously trashes the record which Lotto Max set on the last draw and it is highly expected that Lottery jackpot chasers will show a keen interest in the run up to the draw on Friday.

You can buy lotto tickets for Lotto Max for just $5 for three plays and you will need to match seven numbers out of seven to win the Lotto Max jackpot. The odds of winning are said to be around one in 28 million but it will be the 45 chances to win $1 million Max Millions prizes that will excite Canadian Lottery players the most this week.
