Global Lottery mega draw
Monday November 22nd 2010The world of lottery has never been more exciting than it is right now. The power of the internet now means that people can play almost any lottery game worldwide enabling them to play for some the biggest and best jackpots available. The company who run the UK National Lottery have revealed that the major world lottery operators are currently in talks and a global lottery mega draw is in the pipeline. The talks are only in the primary stages and should they be successful it will be at least a couple of years away.
A spokesperson has confirmed that the National Lottery operator is currently in talks with the US, Australia and countries participating in the EuroMillions about the possibility of launching this global mega draw. Combining the US MegaMillions and PowerBall along with the Australian National Lottery, UK National Lottery and EuroMillions would leave organisers with two options as to how this mega draw will take shape.
One option is that this lottery draw could create a massive jackpot prize which believed could be as high as half a billion. Another option is that the draw could offer extra one million lottery prizes meaning that there are more winners.
Whatever the decision, many will be hoping at this stage that these talks between the various world lottery operators prove to be successful and that we will at some point be able to buy lottery tickets for this mega draw at some point in the future. However, due to the different laws between the different countries who will potentially take part, it will be some time before we will see a firm agreement reached.
