The eyes of lottery players in the UK have been watching eagerly to find out who the elusive winner is of the £113 million EuroMillions jackpot. The news has finally reached us that this EuroMillions winner claims the record jackpot after leaving the nation on the edge of their seats for almost two weeks. There has been much speculation since the win as to who this UK EuroMillions winner may have been and indeed where they may have come from. But now that there is an official claim, the speculation is no longer relevant.

The winner of this EuroMillions jackpot enters the record books as the UKs biggest ever lottery winner and will also enter the UK rich list as the 589th richest person in the country. While the identity of this EuroMillions winner has not yet been revealed, it is understood that this is because a decision whether to do so has not yet been made. Camelot has said that should this latest winner decide to go public, an announcement could be made as early as today.

The previous record breaking lottery winner in the UK was back in May when an anonymous lottery player scooped an £84 million jackpot, also on the EuroMillions. The record before that, the largest win was held by Nigel Paige and Justine Laycock, whose winning lotto ticket netted the tidy sum of £56 million which was also on the EuroMillions.

So in all it is not very difficult to see why the UK players are said to be some of the luckiest of the countries that participate in the EuroMillions.
