Double Cash for life with the Canada Lotto
Friday July 30th 2010Canada has not been out of the news for week with it’s bumper lottery rollovers on both the Lotto 6/49 and Canada Lotto max and now with the launch of a brand new scratchcard offering Double Cash for Life with the Canada Lotto. Lottery games are big business in Canada and the Lotto Max $79 million jackpot pool tonight is likely to get lottery players into a frenzy, but this new scratchcard isn’t likely to be forgotten in the furore, especially when you look at the prize.
The new Double Cash for life scratchcard is sold by the OLG – Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission – who run both the Lotto 6/49 and the Lotto Max. The scratchcard costs $4 and consists of five game.
In games one to four on the lottery scratchcard, you need to scratch off the panels, uncover three identical amounts and win that prize, but if you reveal three ‘LIFE’ symbols then you win the jackpot prize of double cash for life. On game five scratch off the lucky symbol and if it matches any of your own symbols then you win a prize.
Double cash for life with the Canada Lotto is so-called as it’s a follow-up to the hugely popular Cash for Life scratchcard. In the original scratchcard the jackpot prize was $1,000 a week but in the new Double Cash for Life, the prize is a massive $2,000 a week, for life!
Understandably, Canadian Lottery players have chosen this as one of their most popular scratchcard and is it any wonder? Although we think, tonight all eyes will be on the Canada Lotto Max!
