‘Blessed’ Nebraska Powerball Winner Vows to Help Others With $1 Million Prize

Upon collecting her seven-figure sum, Rother revealed that she regularly purchases her Powerball entries from Casey’s General Store at Five Points and was delight that her latest ticket, for the drawing on Saturday May 6th, correctly matched the numbers 11, 21, 31, 41 and 59. Rother told lottery officials that she had no idea that she was a millionaire and only learned of her win on Sunday evening. The selfless winner also intends to help her family, vowing to support her sister as she studies for a degree as a veterinary technician and help her son, niece and nephew have the best start in life. She also hinted that she might treat herself to a new grill to celebrate the big win.
