Another National Lottery rollover
Friday January 22nd 2010Last Saturday we saw another National Lottery rollover jackpot of around £7 million, finally won. It was a very exciting weekend in Europe and in particular, the UK as the multi rollover EuroMillions Lottery was also won. Sharing the jackpot prize of over €50 million between a UK ticket holder and another in France, means that this put the EuroMillions back to a starting jackpot of €15 million.
However, after a starting jackpot of £2.25 million was again not won on the Wednesday night draw for the UK National Lottery, there is another rollover for the draw on Saturday 23rd January for an estimated jackpot of £7 million.
This is great news for players of the National Lottery in the UK. Not only have they got another National Lottery rollover to play for but also the added chance of becoming a millionaire when they buy lottery tickets for the EuroMillions. With lottery tickets purchased for the EuroMillions in the UK, now incorporating the Millionaire Raffle as well as the main lottery game, means that there is a guaranteed millionaire created in the UK every single week
So there may no longer be a EuroMillions rollover to play for this weekend, but with a National Lottery rollover and the Millionaire raffle to play for, UK players have got a lot to get excited about.
Other world lottery games to keep and eye on this weekend are the two US multi state lotteries. The MegaMillions is the larger of the two with a multi rollover jackpot of $105 million and the PowerBall still impressive at $65 million.
