All Eyes Turn to SuperEnalotto
Monday July 18th 2011It has been an exciting few weeks in Europe with regards to the lottery world and last week saw many players across the globe stunned as single UK ticket scoop the breaking EuroMillions jackpot. Don’t be fooled into thinking that lottery fever will disappear too quickly though because as always, when one big jackpot is gone there is always another for players to focus on. For a while at least all eyes will turn to SuperEnalotto, the Italian lottery game that is well known for boasting some of biggest jackpots in Europe.
Carrying a jackpot currently standing at €42.7 million, SuperEnalotto has a long way to go before it reaches the monster jackpot that has caused lottery fever in the last few weeks. However, as SuperEnalotto is notoriously difficult to win, it is has every chance of matching the €185 million at some point, if not exceeding it.
It is not just Europe that had been caught up in the lottery frenzy of late, this has been big news right across the globe and while one side of the Atlantic has the SuperEnalotto to focus on, players in the US have the MegaMillions with $43 million up for grabs and the PowerBall with $76 million.
SuperEnalotto does climb relatively slowly in comparison to the EuroMillions so with a few more rollovers, the Italian Lottery game could soon be taken over again by its closest rival. But for now, lotto tickets for SuperEnalotto will be what most lottery players in Europe will be investing their money on over the next couple of weeks and in the meantime, we will be keeping our eyes on both of them.
