All eyes on SuperEnalotto
Tuesday May 25th 2010One lucky ticket holder scooped the EuroMillions this week and walked away with a €15 million jackpot. Although it was not a rollover, as a lucky UK player won a record breaking jackpot the week before, it is still a tidy sum for one winner to scoop. However, this means that all eyes are on SuperEnalotto this week and with the first draw of the week taking place this evening, we are likely to see a buzz amongst European lottery players as they bid to win the big prize.
The Italian Lottery game, SuperEnalotto has been rolling over for a few weeks now, which is hardly surprising as this is one game which is notoriously difficult to win. The SuperEnalotto jackpot is currently standing at a massive €77.1 million and it is at this point that we start to interest in this European game rise considerably as more people buy lotto tickets for this game.
There is still some way to go before SuperEnalotto reaches the €147.8 million prize which was won back in August of last year, but this is merely a statistic of SuperEnalotto and certainly not something that will dampen the interest of any player that is considering taking part this week.
The Spanish lottery El Gordo has a jackpot of similar size to the EuroMillions at €13.7 million and with neither of these games anywhere near the jackpot of SuperEnalotto, it really isn’t difficult to see why this will be the most popular for European and indeed worldwide players in the coming week.
