Friday’s win was the fourth Mega Millions jackpot to go off in 2019, and the seventh-largest in the game’s history. It was also the biggest prize since last October’s spectacular $1.5 billion win in South Carolina.

The jackpot had been growing for almost three months since the last win of $50 million in Missouri on March 12. Friday’s win adds to an amazing series of jackpots in 2019, including $437 million won in New York on January 1, the ninth-largest in Mega Millions history, and $273 million in New Jersey on March 1.

Even if you didn’t win the jackpot, you should still be sure to check your tickets because Friday’s draw produced 1,711,340 winners in other prize tiers!

There were three $1 million Match 5 winners who matched the five white balls in Arizona, California and Washington.

At the third prize level, 48 tickets won $10,000 each by matching four white balls and the Mega Ball. Five of those will actually take home $30,000 each because they added the Megaplier, which was 3X on Friday, for an extra $1.

This jackpot run has seen over 18.9 million prizes won, including the jackpot, plus 39 prizes of $1 million or more.

The jackpot has now reset to its default starting value of $40 million ($26 million cash). The next drawing is Tuesday, June 11, so be sure to get your tickets.
