Illinois Lotto
Illinois Lotto is a state exclusive game that offers players three shots at winning $1 million or more with every play. The Lotto jackpot draw has a top prize that starts at $2 million and keeps growing until someone hits it, with draws on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:22 pm CT. Add Extra Shot to multiply your non-jackpot prize up to 25 times.
Your numbers are also entered into the Lotto Million 1 and Lotto Million 2 draws, which each give you the chance to take home a $1 million prize and are held just after the main draw.
How to Play
Playing Lotto is really easy - simply pay $2 per line and select six numbers from 1 to 50 or have them randomly generated for you via the Quick Pick option.
If you'd like to enter more than one Lotto draw, mark the box on the play slip and speak to the retailer.
Match all six numbers drawn to win the multi-million dollar jackpot. There are a total of five tiers offering cash prizes for matching as few as two numbers.
Extra Shot
Extra Shot is an optional add-on to your Lotto ticket. It only costs $1 more per game and gives you six additional chances to win Lotto prizes below the jackpot, and will increase their value by up to 25 times! Extra Shot only applies to non-jackpot prizes in the main Lotto draw.
An Extra Shot number between 1 and 25 will be chosen at random and printed on your Lotto ticket. You can win a cash prize just by matching the Extra Shot number on its own, or in addition to the Lotto numbers drawn.
Lotto Million
Your Lotto numbers are also automatically entered into two additional separate draws, Lotto Million 1 and Lotto Million 2. Each has a prize of $1 million for matching all six numbers, and they're drawn straight after the Lotto jackpot draw.
