Daily Derby
Daily Derby is a racing-themed CA lottery game featuring two chances to win with each play and a daily draw. The race for the Grand Prize is on!
Playing is simple. First, choose your three lucky horses to finish first, second and third.
Next, pick your Race Time - the amount of time it will take your fastest horse to win. This Race Time must be between 1:40:00 and 1:49:99 (that is, one minute and forty seconds to one minute and forty-nine point nine, nine seconds). You pick the last three numbers - for example, if you select 1:45:99, then mark only the last three digits, 5:99, on your playslip.
You can play using your favorite horses up to three times per playslip. You can also play randomly generated horses and/or Race Times with Quick Pick.
To play your horse and Race Time selections for 1-7 or 14 consecutive drawings on one playslip, just mark the Advance Play box.
Each play costs $2. You'll receive a ticket, which is your receipt. The ticket shows your horses, Race Time, draw date and how much you paid. Always check the ticket for accuracy and sign the back.
The draw takes place every day just after the draw entry closes at 6:30 PM PT.
After each draw, check the Daily Derby winning numbers page to see if you're a winner!
