WyoLotto Celebrates Cowboy Draw Launch with “Horse” Giveaway
Wednesday March 18th 2015They don’t call it the Cowboy State for nothing - now Wyoming residents have the chance to win $10,000 to spend on their dream horse (or anything else) thanks to the newly-launched Cowboy Draw lottery game.
Tickets for the first state-level game offered by WyoLotto went on sale last Sunday, with the first drawing set for Monday 23rd March. Players pay $5 for two entries and pick five numbers from 1 to 45 or have them randomly generated in the hopes of winning the jackpot, which starts at $250,000 and can increase with rollovers. Drawings are held on Monday and Thursday afternoons at 2:00 PM MDT. With odds of 1 in 6 for winning any prize, ticket sales for the new game are sure to be strong.
To celebrate the start of Cowboy Draw, WyoLotto is offering players an opportunity to “win a horse” - essentially, enough cash to cover the cost of a horse, pre-purchase vet check-ups and hay for their new friend. If you’re in Wyoming and want to get your hands on the money, simply buy a Cowboy Draw ticket and take a photo of yourself holding it. Once you’ve uploaded the photo to the site and agreed to the rules, you’re off to the races! The competition closes at 2:59 AM MDT on March 29th, and the winner will be selected at random no later than April 15th, 2015.
The cash can then be used to buy a horse or whatever else the winner's heart desires. With over 11,000 farms in the state, as well as a healthy number of ranches and a love of cowboy culture, it’s likely that whoever lands the money might indeed buy a new steed or mare. Of course, if they win big on Cowboy Draw, they wouldn’t have worry about their finances at all!
