UK Lotto and EuroMillions both rollover
Friday August 19th 2011There is going to be much excitement across Europe and in particular, the UK this weekend as both the UK Lotto and EuroMillions rollover on their midweek draws. Bigger jackpots are what most players love to play for all over the world and the EuroMillions is particular is boasting a cracker for the next draw that takes place this evening. There have been no winners on this game through August so the €65 million jackpot will not be surprising.
Of course along with other participating countries in Europe, UK players are able to have a stab and winning this jackpot tonight. Not forgetting the Millionaire Raffle which is exclusive to UK players who play EuroMillions and guarantees one millionaire will be created from each and every draw.
The UK National Lottery also rolled over on the midweek draw this week to create an estimated bumper £6.8 million jackpot for the draw taking place on Saturday. This of course is nowhere near the EuroMillions monster jackpot, but still a larger than normal jackpot for players in the UK and something that is always appealing to them. A rollover on the National Lottery always prompts a rise in tickets sales and when the EuroMillions reaches this kind of level, we also see it start to rise much more steeply as more people turn out to get tickets.
This is the highest that the EuroMillions has risen to since the record breaking jackpot that was won back in July by a couple in the UK, so it has been a long time coming for EuroMillions players and not surprisingly it is likely to be an exciting weekend in the lottery world.
