Three UK National Lottery prizes expiring

Tuesday August 31st 2010

There are three UK National Lottery prizes expiring in September and one of them will need to be claimed within the next couple of days before it goes to the National Lottery good causes. It is always shocking to see the amount of lottery prizes all over the world which go unclaimed every week and although the money that is not claimed does go to a good cause, it is largely felt that those that play the lottery should benefit from the win. Sadly this doesn’t always happen.

The National Lottery, as well as other lotteries worldwide, always make every effort to make sure that this money goes to the rightful winner and it is hoped that appeals such as this will help this to happen.

The first National Lottery prize expiring in September is for £74,627. The ticket was purchased in the London Borough of Enfield and was for a draw which took place on 6th March 2010. This National Lottery ticket matched five numbers plus the bonus ball. This ticket holder needs to be quick as this National lottery prize will expire on 2nd September.

The second is a EuroMillions ticket purchased in Liverpool. This lucky winner matched five of the main numbers to scoop a prize of £59,117 for the draw which took place on 26th March. This winner has until 22nd September to make their claim. The final ticket is for a National Lottery draw which took place on 27th March. This ticket matched all of the numbers drawn to win a jackpot prize of just over £1.5 million. It was purchased in the Borough of South Tyneside and expires on 23rd September. If you bought a lotto ticket in any of the above areas around the time of the draws, then dig out your lottery tickets and check them right way to see if you are one of these illusive National Lottery winners.
