Powerball Jackpot Hits $173 Million

This is the highest that the Powerball jackpot has been since 11th February 2012 when the top prize reached just over $336 million, so the question is any will ticket holders match the five main numbers along with the Powerball drawn tonight to win the jackpot or will the top prize in this American multi-state lottery remain elusive and carry on rolling over?
The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was on the 21st March when a winning ticket which was sold in New Jersey matched the Powerball results to win the top prize that was worth $70 million. Since then no players have managed to match the numbers drawn to win the jackpot, meaning that the jackpot has rolled over a total of nine times to reach the amount on offer tonight, so we shall have to wait and see if tonight’s Powerball draw will be another rollover.
The most popular Powerball numbers to be drawn in the results are 20, 41, 32, 16, 42 and 26. However, the numbers which rarely appear in the Powerball results are 57, 56, 58, 59, 55 and 54.
