Pennsylvania Lottery win still unclaimed
Wednesday April 13th 2011A winning lottery ticket worth a whopping $1 million was sold at a gas station in West Scranton, but the wait is on for the Pennsylvania Lottery winner to come forward and make a claim. The ticket was for the multi state game, PowerBall for a draw that took place on 9th April 2011 and matched all five numbers to secure this fantastic win.
The winning numbers were 5, 14, 32, 53 and 56 and the gas station that sold the ticket is the Turkey Hill on Meridian Avenue. They will also receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning PowerBall lottery ticket.
PowerBall winners have one year to claim their wins and this winner would be expected to receive in the region of $750,000 after federal taxes. Pennsylvania Lottery officials are urging the winning PowerBall ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket immediately and get in touch to file the claim. So if you bought a PowerBall ticket from Turkey Hill for the draw in question, now would be a good time to check your ticket to see if you are the illusive winner.
