The ticket was purchased from the Kinney Drugs, located at 2 Preston Street in Camden, a town in Oneida County.

The ticket matched all the winning numbers drawn on February 16: white balls 1, 36, 44, 54 and 66, and the Mega Ball 10.

The jackpot has been rolling since it was last won in Michigan on January 22 - that incredible $1.050 billion prize is still unclaimed!

The Mega Millions top prize was last won in New York over two years ago. 23 Long Island co-workers had a very happy New Year when they scored $437 million on January 1, 2019 - the largest lottery prize ever won in the Empire State.

Technically lottery winners in New York are not able to stay anonymous, but the lottery pool effectively did just that by claiming the prize via a company, New Life 2019, LLC. They chose to share the $262.2 million cash option.

More Mega Millions Winners

The other big winner in Tuesday's draw was a ticket sold in California that won the game's second prize by matching all five white ball numbers.

Additionally, nine lucky winners nationwide matched four of the white balls and the gold Mega Ball to hit the $10,000 third prize. One of those tickets is actually worth $30,000 since the Megaplier option was added for an extra $1 and last night's multiplier was 3X, tripling the ticket's value.

Including the jackpot, there were 515,120 prizes won in total last night across the country.

This jackpot run has seen nearly 3.9 million tickets win on all prize tiers, including nine Match 5 second prizes worth $1 million or above.
