National Lottery Rollover Jackpot Climbs

The great news is that there is now another chance to win as the National Lottery rollover jackpot climbs again after the draw on Saturday failed to produce a winner - as no one managed to match the winning numbers for a second time. Midweek lottery draws do not usually attract as many players as the weekend draws but with the National Lottery boasting a massive £9.6 million jackpot for tonight, you can expect an exception to the rule this week. But what will happen if the National Lottery rolls over again after the draw this evening?
Well, of course this will be the third time in a row that the National Lottery Jackpot would roll over so naturally it would increase. However, the National Lottery rules do not allow a jackpot to roll over indefinitely and this limit is set at four consecutive rollovers. If after this point there is no outright winner for the jackpot, the National Lottery prize pool for the fifth consecutive draw as well as the rollover amount from the previous draw will be shared between the winners of the next prize tier down; which is a match of five main numbers plus the bonus ball. If there are no National Lottery winners on this prize tier, then it will automatically go down to the next tier.
