There were many more celebrities that featured in this National Lottery event but what is really important is purpose of the lottery awards and who the winners were. Not everyone will be familiar with all of the projects that were winners and it would be impossible for us to explain what each one is about. As lottery players raise £25 million per week to fund such projects it is always great to know just where all this National Lottery funding is going.

The Beacon Hill Film Project won the award for the Best Arts Project, while the National Lottery award for Best Education Project went to HMS Cavalier. Other National Lottery awards winners were the Bumblebee Conservation Trust for Best Environment Project, Access to Citizenship won the award for Best Health Project. These are just a few of the winners and if you watched the show, you will now know exactly how important each lotto ticket that you buy is to these projects and just how successful they have been because of it which is something for UK lottery player should be extremely proud of.
